SUPPOSE Kevin's Watch University were to grant Loremaster a PhD of Science Fiction and Fantasy. We could type it up, put it in a frame -- anyone calls to check, Jay would give them an earful about LM graduating KWU with the highest honors, best acedemic record in recent memory. And the Watch has lots of evidence of LM "lecturing" on variety of "topics", we'll send you the transcripts.

They gotta ask themselves - do they want a bona fide Gap expert, or some jumped up balding old nob with a bunch of letters after his name who wouldn't know a singularity grenade if he sat on one?

You have to understand that just because I know alot about the Gap does not mean, to the Australian viewers, that I am sufficient to be an adjudicator. They need to say, 'Michael has his masters in literature, specialising in science fiction,' not 'Michael is a fan.' The public, to the latter option, will say 'who is he to be an adjudicator?'.

However, it is a shame and I appreciate your support.

Interviewer: So tell us about your skills.
Loremaster: Well, I was once an adjudicator on the Einstein Factor.
I: Oh? Go on, go on.
LM: I had to look at questions relating to Stephen Donaldson's Gap sequence of books, then appear on screen for a second or two then act as judge of the answers during filming.
I: What is "The Gap"?
LM: A five book series involving a woman who gets raped by this toad of a man, and she later joins a cool ship with a cool captain who isn't so cool and gives birth to the toad's child, but they later visit a pirate station where she is handed over to an alien race who want to convert humanity using a genetic mutagen into them but she gets out with the help of the toad of man and rushes to Earth however the aliens are after them and the big corporation run by a power-mad man.
