Anyway...uh...I don't know how to turn it on. It looks like none of the Last Chrons forums have it. What I suspect is that all the forums created since its original installation do not have have it.

I'll try looking it up when I have a chance. But for now, no thanks.

I'm pretty sure all of the GT games [Syl] has mastered has had the good post button turned off at his request.

...at least, I think that's what was said way back when.

It gets annoying having this place freeze up from 22:59 to 23:01 every single night.

Server stuff I'd say, Murrin. Probably a backing up of servers. Happens every night for me between 10.30 and 11.00. Be sure to save your posts in a word or text doc. An almighty pain in the a*$e when you lose one :?

For two minutes? Really? You're bitching about 2 minutes? Go get a drink while you wait. ;)

What I do if I write a lengthy post is just select the whole field and copy it, before hitting submit. (And sometimes after, resulting in a mad scramble to copy it before the next page starts to load. )

Then if something goes wrong, you have it in your clipboard to paste either into a txt file or back into the reply field.

Also, modern browsers will save your browser state, so usually, if it screws up, you can recover your post just by hitting the back button on the browser, and what you typed will still be there. (If you use a decent browser...dunno if IE does it.)

When clicked on, it tries to go to the false post from 12/31/1969...

:LOLS: Weird.

This is probably a good time to remind everybody of the backup forum: kevinswatch.fr.yuku.com

Just in case. ;)

Fine already, but I saw the Anniversary thread disappear. Happened after several server errors and an attempt to delete a glitched post. Returned after I posted that same post again (I had it on another tab).

Now it's fine so mainly this is in case someone might be interested or get a similar situation.

If anyone is curious to see, I have a screenshot.

*sigh* It happens.

Everybody so far has been able to recover it, so don't know if it can be permanent. Hope not to find out.

The 5pm freakout strikes again. Just lost a massive post.

Are you telling the new site to remember you? Anyway, yeah, it's just because of the temp move. Vain will move it all back when he's back online.

(Well, change the paths and things.)

Normal service seems to have been restored. Seems I may have been the victim of the April Fools gag. Not funny, guys, not funny at all! Brought me face to face with the strength of my addiction. Not funny! (Okay, maybe a little bit funny )

I didn't get the Takedown Notice, but it was a nice touch. Congrats all round for a well executed prank!
