 Feel pretty weird. On Saturday, I cut my hair short for the first time in 10 years. And I didn't just cut it in fact, I shaved it down to the skull. Ten years worth of hair, gone in a moment. :D It's gonna take me a while to get used to it.

I have never been so sore in my life.

I was sore from swimming which just started, so my shoulders and arms were killing me. Now I just got back from a soccer tournament... I think I've pulled muscles I didn't know I had. My ribs are killing me from diving on the ball, I think... I might've gotten kicked, but I don't remember because I get really intently focused on the ball only. My legs and feet are killing me from my exhausted half as a forward, before resuming my post in goal for the rest of the tourney. Aughhhh...

Who's ready for 6:45 am swim practice? :P

My feet hurt. I miss my boyfriend...but life's pretty good :) I went to a wedding this weekend! My brother and I got to do readings! :D It was for a close family friend (we were his billet family when he was playing hockey in our old home town), and I managed to only cry twice: Once when they were saying their vows, once when the groom thanked my brother and I during the reception with the words "It meant a lot that they did those readings for us; they're like siblings to me." *gets teary again*

I'm feeling good.
The kids are actually old enough now that they can play together and I have some free time to actually do things around the house (cleaning, painting, build a new deck.....)
My wife and I are getting along great after 9 years of marriage.
My diabeties is under control and my sinus' are playing nice this week.

Too bad my personality is that I worry about how it's all not going to last!
:?
But I've always been like that so I'm ok with it.

The funniest thing i have read today.

I feel better (slightly) today. My knee still hurts but it doesn't make me want to roll on the ground and howl ATM, like it did last night.

I'm felling mighty fine! :S

Yesterday I enroled for university and applied for my student loan. Almost all set to start classes in just under a month. 8O

Now all I need is a new flat and a partner and I'm set. ;)

Sort of frustrated. Two of my sisters have begun to argue about my father's estate. It's nearly been settled, a year and a half after his death, and now they start arguing.

They keep sending me emails trying to involve me, and I have not been (and do not plan on ) answering them.

I just want this all to be over.

And what they are arguing about? The wording on the final standard lawyer's form we're supposed to sign and get back to the lawyer so the court can finally close the estate.

I think the real (and underlying) problem was the headstone. One of them had this bright idea to order the headstone over the internet. One of the others said to have it delivered to her and she would take care of it and take it to the old family cemetary in the backmost back hills of West Virginia. Now -- my parents were cremated so its not even as if they are buried anywhere. I tried to tell the two of them that it was not a good idea, and if they wanted a headstone it should be ordered locally in West Virginia, but no one listened to me (I am the family dummy, you see). They went ahead and ordered the thing, and it turned out to be so heavy the guy refused to even unload it from the truck, so my sister had to call her husband from work and a bunch of neighbors to get it off the truck. Then they had to rent a special dolly and truck for the weekend to get it to West Virginia from Maryland. When they got to the little cemetary in the middle of nowhere, it was locked and they could not contact the caretakers because there is no cell phone reception down there. So they ended up having to leave it next to the cemetary wall, and some of our cousins had to take care of it (they got a key and roped the damned thing into the cemetary and into a spot) later.

Its the two that were involved with the headstone that are fighting, and the one who delivered it that started it. The third sister and I, who had nothing to do with that debacle, are fine with everything.

Families can be the greatest blessing in the world, but they can also be frustrating. :(
