Though in the last three days I've gotten two traffic violations I still got this letter in the mail:
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

I had a rough day at work. And now I have to work super hard to get caught up for the week. I'm starting to think I need a mid-winter vacation. It's been six months since my last vacation. *ponders* Where to go, what to do . .

At the end of my shift tonight I will be off from work for ten blessed days.
Maybe I will even stop having bloody stress diarrhea after I have been off for a few days.
That would be truly fine!
I am hoping to get lots of rest and peace and quiet on my time off.
My younger son's birthday is tomorrow, on Sunday I will be able to see Patrick Stewart onstage as Prospero in The Tempest along with the rest of the fine performers in the Royal Shakespeare Company, and then I will be heading down to Indiana to celebrate my older son's birthday, which be on Tuesday.
But the rest of the time, I hope to sleep, read, watch movies, and relax.
Take the dog for walks, eat healthy food -
and feel better!!

Ah, I hope everyone feels better.
I've been in a strange funk for a while now. Most of it I think from just the general feeling of being overwhelmed at school. Maybe. Or something. Heh. I don't really know.
But in general, I can't complain. Things are going pretty well right now for the most part. Tons of people have far greater problems than I do.-jay

Ate a hamburger for the first time this year. Man, they are really overrated; either that or I'm just not addicted to them like I used to be. On top of that, I went jogging about an hour ago and felt like I was in slow motion/underwater. Damn burger!
Will eat some oatmeal for breakfast tomorrow and some vegetables for dinner, I think, to balance myself out.
Speaking of tomorrow: taking a day off. One of my classes is canceled, and the other one will just be watching a video. Meh. I need all the me-time I can get, especially since I'm going to be working on a paper this weekend.

Hey everyone!
Well, I have only two weeks left in Middle earth. And then I shall be back home, able to boldly post at a frightening rate again!
I hate paying so much for internet time...
Big hugs to all the sickies - big hugs to all who need them, congrats to those who deserve them, and commiserations to those suffering injustices.
luv yas!
