Shortest turn I've sent in. But it was a simple enough thing to do....

As usual, a few players haven't sent their turns in yet... I'll be starting processing between today and tomorrow, following a certain order; if I haven't received their turn by the time I'm supposed to process their actions, I'll just assume they do nothing...
EDIT: Currently, I'm still missing the turns of these deities:
Amplarx
Keev Furaha
Moxinomal
Unzen

I've been mulling this over for a few days. I'm going to go inactive. I'm at kind of a loss as to where to take Unzen now, with no over all grand plan for character development.
Sorry for the delay in deciding. Have fun with the rest of the game, everyone.

Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one.

I have a suggestion .... Unzen gives Devaguhya all his DRP and followers!!Damelon wrote:I've been mulling this over for a few days. I'm going to go inactive. I'm at kind of a loss as to where to take Unzen now, with no over all grand plan for character development.

I know what the problem is ... too much Warcraft!! I certainly understand that!!

You will be missed, Lord of the 'Bridge'!

pheh, I mulled over doing the exact thing you did, asking for his followers at least, if not his DRP. I mean, heck, at least cho is in the same Court...Devaguhya wrote:I have a suggestion .... Unzen gives Devaguhya all his DRP and followers!!
...but then I decided that would be too tacky even for cho...

*although she'll gladly accept them should Unzen offer them*

...on second thought...
there is a Sunrise member whose primary followers are Undead. perhaps Unzen's followers would be drawn to him...

When in doubt, attack somebody!Damelon wrote:I've been mulling this over for a few days. I'm going to go inactive. I'm at kind of a loss as to where to take Unzen now, with no over all grand plan for character development.

I really don't know much about Unzen. But it was interesting to see such a different approach to Undeath than Argothoth had in P1 and P2. The Bridge was very cool.

cho interacted with him, yet even so did not know much about Unzen either. But I do agree the different approach to Undeath was fascinating to observe.
The AllFather has hinted that followers of deities who have left Eiran are still around in the current Age, not just ones such as the L-rds of Eiran from previous Ages. Of those whose deity has departed, I really hope to see Dante Simjenson and Varmor again on occasion...

Absolutely one of the most creative reveals I've seen in three Ages of this game.In Unzen's reveal 'twas wrote:UNZEN - Arise!…… Arise my son from the sleep of death!
VARMOR - (stirs)
UNZEN - Arise and hear my call!
VARMOR - (sits up and addresses the silhouette) What happened? I remember being hit with many arrows. Oh, the pain! I remember striding towards Blatot trying to cut him and that foul Shinzat down… But I remember no more. (pauses) Who, or what are you?
UNZEN - Varmor, my son, you are not what you were when the sun rose and you are not what you became before the sun set. I am UNZEN, god of the bridge between life and death. You, Varmor, were slain by your enemies during the last crossing of the sun. You crossed the bridge to the place of the dead along with others of your clan. Your camps dwellings were burned and your people scattered. However, by my hand, I have brought you back across the bridge, to dwell, in your body, in the land of the living.
VARMOR - Why? Why did you not leave me dead!
UNZEN - Ah, I did not bring you back to cause you pain. I had to let events take their course. I have chosen you to be the FIRST of the FIRST followers. You are the FIRST to recross the bridge between life and death. There is much for you to learn. As I have said, you are not what you were. Some urges of the flesh you no longer have as a result of the crossing of the bridge. Yet some motivations you retain.
VARMOR - What do you intend to do?
UNZEN - You must awaken your people, my chosen people, the Orcs. For they have not been forsaken in the new age. I have heard their prayers and have chosen them as well as you to fulfill what must be done now that the gods are returning to Eiren. Others as well as the Orcs will soon hear my call. The pace of change quickens.
(Enter TIGER stage left, purring)
VALMOR - I begin to understand. You will guide me?
UNZEN - Yes. Now you must go and find your clan. You must wear your mask among them, for even though you were across the bridge for only a short time, you may appear…. disconcerting to those who haven’t crossed and not learned the truth. As they come to know you they will learn and wish to cross over the bridge and return themselves. Go and tell your people! I will give you the words.

I agree, the maneuvers between the Void and Unzen were among the most interesting parts of the game... and now that the Void has become a real god, I would really have been interested in seeing how their interactions would have evolved. Now at least Unzen could have crusaded against the Void knowing he was opposing a real entity and not just an abstract concept...Dorian wrote:Well thanks Damelo you couldve said this before I spent all my DRPs attacking unzen this turn![]()
In all seriousness, you will be missed. The tensions between our peoples was one of the more pivitol story lines of Inritus. You will be missed.
