AllFather, any chance of uploading the map(s) of Eiran to the Facebook Pantheon Fan Page, for whenever the Watch should go down? Especially with Vain contemplating the switch over to phpBB3 relatively soon, causing expected outages over time?
Maps are available here.

Woke up this morning, it was a great sunny day, I went to my car to go to the lab (I was scheduled for routine blood tests in 15 minutes)... and when I turn on the engine, not one but three yellow lights turn on as well, while the engine starts making a groaning sound.

I find out that the nearest service point is 10 Km away, so I call the lab, postpone the blood tests, drive all the way over there (slowly and with a car which stopped every now and then), I finally arrive and they start looking at it. Turns out that a marten (yes, the animal) had chewed through the wires in the engine. Not that bad, except for the fact that the service point didn't have replacement cables, so they told me the earliest they can fix the car is tomorrow.

Fine, then I get a replacement in the meantime, right? ... not so fast. Apparently, Renault has a policy according to which the replacement car is at the discretion of the service point, if you drove the car over there yourself. But if your car stops in the middle of the street and won't move, then you can call the assistance and they'll take care of everything. So I had to pretend the car had stopped near the service point and they had dragged it in (thankfully they were happy to lie about it). Then I called, they opened a file, and two hours later (yes, 2 hours later) they called back to say they'd arranged a replacement car with AVIS. Except that... the AVIS center they had contacted was in another town (!!!!) so they had to pay for a cab for me to get there, and the cab took another hour to arrive.

So to put it all in context, I wasted almost 5 hours (4 of which I spent inside the service point), and hopefully tomorrow I'll have my car again.

*grumble grumble*

Now where did I put those Pantheon turns I should process... I need to vent some stress out!

If someone can GET me the maps, I'd be happy to host them there. I asked about previous maps many months ago, but was ignored.

<sniff>

It didn't hurt my feelings or anything.

I mean, sure it did a little, but I'm a grown woman. I can deal with being ignored, right?

*nod*

Trust me, I relate.
I've asked as well, and did receive the last map of the Second Age from another player, but that's all I have...

Xar and I were discussing different levels of subscribing to Pantheon.
Pay X, and you get results ten days before the others.
Pay Y, and your Prophet is guaranteed safe for five turns.
Pay Z, and you get both.

That's clearly the most expensive Pantheon Payment Plan of all. You'd be rich!

I might be able to furnish you with every pantheon map ever.

I wiped them off my drive a few months back, but it's just occured to me I probably have them on a backup. I'll take a look, rar them together, and mail it to you.

I've only seen one or two after they were replaced. It would be very cool to see them all! :D

Av...

My understanding is Goat isn't interested in any maps other than the Third Age, as I sent him the Second Age one you sent me awhile ago and he said he didn't want it. But, I would be more than happy to put them on my photobucket if you send them to me...

Yeah, I don't think the 1st or 2nd Age maps would be very useful to us, in terms of playing 3rd Age. But if you happen to have *ALL* of the maps, I'll throw them up there for everyone.

Though, Photobucket probably has a much slicker interface than I do, come to think of it.

I'd start a bidding war for this, but since 'Deva did start the "Death of Zephyr" thread... I guess he really had called dibs.

<grumble>

If I pay V, can I whack The Void?
