Yes, Nick wanted Pup to have little protection, and sent Sib into a separate section of the space station from Pup, and even told Sib not to screw up so that security would be watching him more closely than Pup, and trying to make sure Sib wasn't taking valuable engineering equipment for which he would be unauthorized. All part of Nick getting revenge upon Mikka for opposing him, and part of Nick's larger plan to get revenge upon Sorus.

Alesha Hardaway was Darrrin's targ first, his first cousin, and his lover. Their relationship is probably the cleanest and most straightforward thing in all of the Gap story arc...which speaks volumes about this saga.
