OK, I'm sold. I will envy all who buy one for years to come.

Especially if we can get copyright permission to use a graphic as well...

Got in touch with Stienberg--he's out of town during E-fest but will send a reporter to cover it. His voice lit up when he found out that Donaldson AND Vardeman were going to be there and agreed that Albq's most successful writer should be honored for the 30th anni of LFB. Left a message with the film crew and have approved the Rock Room and made reservations!

(...that kinda talk gets me hot!)

Hey, everything's go and much better organized with the film crew--what's going on with the frills anyway? Are we going to make t-shirts at Luci's cafepress (or mine, or Jay's)? Do we need to contact artists to scan templates in? Do I need to commision a plaque? Because I will tomorrow. Should I go to Home Depot and get a big cylindrical piece of wood (...see now I'm turning you on! :P  ) and wood burning tools so we can create a communal SofL? I was thinking of creating

Anele's cave
in my pile of dirt and junk from our backyard makeover, but maybe I'll just throw a tarp over it...Damm it's getting close--we'd better get moving--I'm getting excited!

I think a plaque is a great idea! A contest for art for the T-shirts should generate alot of excitement, but do we have time for that? It's only 4 weeks away.

Does the restaurant have mashed potatoes? We can have a contest to see who can sculp the best replica of Kevins Watch during dinner (ala Close Encounters). No - *we're* not crazy! :-)

danlo, you taking us to Andelain again?

So how many are getting dressed up now? If enough are, Christy will probably want to. And if she does, I'll have to, too. Which means I have to start looking for nice clothes. At least, digging them out. At most, buying some. I don't dress up very often.

I was thinking of bringing along a sport coat, dress shirt and slacks - no tie, for the occassion.

Another trip to Andelain would be neat.

Not a bad plan, clothes-wise. Although I'll wear whatever Christy picks out for me, since she's the person in the world I most want to look attractive to. Especially if she wears that red dress... *wipes up drool*

Will you be drolling during dinner?

Might not look good if we are being filmed. :D

How about a thread to decide these quickly? Otherwise, we'll get sidetracked on clothes.

I'm always up for a trip to Andelian-it's wetter than usual so it should be greener and there's the possibility that the hot springs will be open this year :cross:

So which day for Andelain and hot springs? Christy and I are good for Saturday or Sunday, since we're not flying out until Monday.
