There's a clip of some watchmen footage up on youtube, footage from the Spike Awards I think. It's mostly a retread of the trailer, but there're some new things, and if you like Roreschach -- and you know you do --you'll like those new things.

Okay, the music in the trailer is "'The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning" by the Smashing Pumpkins. The full version is available on youtube, and you don't have to go far to find the MP3.

Ahh, thank you for telling me that. Every time I watch the trailer I think 'damn that's a kickass tune; wonder who did it?', and then promptly forget to do a search.

um... I can't tell if that's sarcasm. I figured everone figured out it was SP right away, but I didn't think too many knew what track it was.

Apparently its a redux of "The End is the Beginning is the End", which was for one of the Batman soundtracks. You can youtube the video for that one, too. Its a much faster version of the same tune.

Well, you all seem so keenly interested in this ... so ...

It appears that Warner Bros. can go forward with its March 6 release of “Watchmen” -- without Fox chief Tom Rothman employing his editing room acumen to adjust the feature to a more “commercially viable” size.

The two studios are said to have reached an agreement on the matter and are expected to request Friday morning that the case be dismissed.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed, and may never be disclosed, but insiders suggest it involved money.
