I just went onto Amazon and realised something - Shadowmarch is out in 29 days! I'm a cheapskate*, so I'm waiting an extra week and ordering both books from Amazon - cheaper prices and free delivery (Runes is only £12 on Amazon-UK, but free delivery is only for orders over £19). And there's always the slight chance that by preordering online I might get them a day or two earlier that expected...
I still love the cover, btw - looks even better in gold than it did in silver. Shadowmarch cover is just as good.

*'Cheapskate' may be substituted for 'student'.

I ordered it from Strand Books:

According to this webpage they only have one more book in stock. :!:

When I ordered a few days ago there were 2 in stock. Now, I haven't actually received my book yet (so I can't verify what exactly they shipped me), but according to UPS it weighs 2.3 lbs and it will be delivered tomorrow.

I just ordered the last one they had (sorry, Duchess :oops: )

We'll see how fast I get it.

EDIT:
Just rec'd an email from the bookstore - they tell me that my order will be processed tomorrow and that I shall have the book on Tuesday (via UPS.)

Holy Cow!!!!! I ordered mine from Barnes & Noble online. I should check and see if they have sent it yet! I can't believe they are sending them out already!


Edit: B & N says they will not ship until Oct 14th. :cry:

My Runes order actually got processed AND shipped on 10-1-04 - and UPS says I should receive it on Monday!

I got mine on eBay 2 weeks ago and it's a "real" 1st printing, official release, etc! Not an ARC

There are 2 hardcovers on ebay now - one new and one used. There are also 2 ARCs.
