Personally, I find great consolation and pride in the fact that I'm the same age as Furls.

The great thing about getting older is that you don't lose all the other ages you've been.

Geez, five more years and I'll be in the "getting fitted for a coffin" age group. Couldn't you have split up the 40's group a bit?
Join me and we can end this destructive conflict...

I think Vain should change the poll to eliminate overlaps and more accurately depict how I feel. Here's how it should be:
>50
42 thru 49
41
30 thru 40
20 thru 29
15 thru 14
BTW, We're getting older:

Never realized we were the same age, Av.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and
active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I am 35, but I swore never to be a grown-up. I may be an adult with adult responsibilities, but I am strictly against growing up.

I did.
You must have missed the (very few) posts where I mentioned it...once in the last "age" thread, and once in the 'Tank I think. I remember Fist being surprised (so maybe it was the Close
).
SoulQuest, you've got the right idea there I think.
Sgt, I long ago came to the conclusion that calendar age is irrelevant. Look at Lord Mhoram for example...

But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Full of the heavens and time.

23. The great unlovable age.
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Okay - there's a gray area here (but you can't tell, thanks to Just For Men).
I have this friend ... he's 40 and 6 months. He wants to know if that's the "40" category, or the "over 40" category. Keeping in mind that he'd rather not place himself in the next-to-the-top category in this particular survey. Not that he's overly sensitive about this or anything.
And then the ravens pecked out his eyes.
