As I have said previously, I have finally learned my lesson regarding "catastrophes" in response to asking if processing has started, how far along it is, etc., after losing Estiä, Raucous, and the majority of cho's military when all on Verille were destroyed by the Midnight Armies, all in a single season.

Doubly painful, as Estiä was being prepped to be a second prophet...

I will not ask again.

Yes, and maybe it'd be okay to do it every now and then if you didn't turn it into such a big fuss...

I am sure you'll be fine, Murrin. Since you haven't asked all that much before.
Just stating I won't ask again.

...good luck, though... ;)

Oy...
This is killing me!

Did anyone save the following W&E posts?

Turn 9
Turn 10
Turn 12
Turn 13
Turn 14
and
Turn 15?

I'm pretty sure only references to "amber disturbances" has been removed from them, but if any one has the originals to compare and will share, that would be very welcome...

Now to keep checking on the map.

Yes, there is no reference to them there any more. You can be sure of that because the part were Sunrise City vanishes is gone.

I'd say it's a simple case where killing the Time Reaver, because of what he is, erases him from time entirely. The alternative is if someone messed with his point of origin back when Argothoth created a paradox.

*nodding*

I tried to figure out how to bring this up in character, but it is beyond me. Should anyone else have an idea how that might work, feel free to consider this ~IC~ information.

If that is the case, I have a question then...
in cho's Turn 10 results it was wrote:Two of your centaurs return to Sunrise City and claim that, while scouting south of Sunrise City and into the Shylan Desert, they came upon what appears to be a strange outcropping of glowing crystal; they unearthed it, and discovered it to be a transparent crystal monolith which glowed with a fierce inner light, and was hot to the touch. Though it was hard to say for sure due to the light, they thought a fine web of thin cracks covered the monolith. However, before they can travel to Zandarar to speak with your Prophet and with yourself, a strange amber disturbance falls upon Sunrise City, blotting it and its surroundings from your sight or contact!
In response, that season cho used the Divine Right of the Court to send an empowered mage in to the area where Sunrise City had been, to investigate and immediately lost any awareness of him. She followed up by sending a pair of further enhanced followers (2 personal DRP and 2 of the Court's DR) to investigate, and again lost contact. IIRC, in both instances I asked for Koel's aid, as I suspected from the start that Time was involved, but at that point in the game Koel was not willing to coordinate with a 'riser...

My question is this...
If none of this happened to Sunrise City, cho's attention would not have been drawn to it. I suspect the centaurs who were carrying news of the crystal outcropping would have made it to Zandarar and cho's attention would have been directed towards the crystal outcropping instead.

Should that have been the case, where would we now stand regarding the "cancer" in the Shylan?

ugh, Time paradoxes...my head hurts...

Wait until the turn results, then. They should tell us where we stand.

I thought you were gonna ask for the Divine Right back.

If the past is changed, we're not gonna start the game over. What you didn't do, you still didn't do. Try to imagine that other things came up, and took your attention from the crystal.

BTW, Xar missed an old Time Reaver reference. :D

Nah, that I can't do as it would have expired anyway.

I guess.

Part of the problem was that the way my results was phrased, I thought the crystal was the cause of what happened to Sunrise City. So by investigating what happened there I thought I was investigating both. When no further mention of the outcropping was mentioned, I thought it had also disappeared. So, I don't imagine cho would have been distracted from the outcropping if Sunrise City's vanishing had never occurred.

I'll do what Murrin suggests, and see if any changes are specified in upcoming results. If not, I'll go with what you suggest. I won't be happy with it, but will accept it.

I think I found what you are referring to, although there are several even further back.

I only see one that's older than the several in June.

Prior to June?
Then you are right, and that story would also never have happened...

The AllFather wrote:Cryptic hint #1: someone's investigation has uncovered far more than originally bargained for - and something which was completely unexpected.

Cryptic hint #2: prepare for a Prophet's demise and the return of someone who was thought to be gone... a return which occurs in a surprising twist of fate!

Cryptic hint #3: at least one of the Gifts from the end of the Second Age comes into play!
I do so love CHs...

If all three of these are related...

I am so happy when pieces to a puzzle finally fall in to place.
...even if my guess turns out to be totally wrong.

I wonder if the demise of the prophet has to do with the return.
The last time I recall something hinted at that was "surprising," cho wound up with thralls. She who talks about "will and freedom" in her dogma.

"A surprising twist of fate" causes me to perhaps fear for a follower of Anaya's, maybe...

It's about time long life, health, and fecundity finally produced results!

I haven't logged into the Watch in about a week. And now that I'm back, I find myself dreading the prospect of having to get all caught up again.

Y'all gotz issues, checking the map more than once when you know Xar to be sleeping, though. Just sayin'.

You think it's easy maintaining this level of obsession?!? It takes work!! You wanna play with the big boys? Or do you wanna sit on the sidelines and make funny little jokes?

I generally only keep checking up until 6:00 pm EDT, thank you very much. Occasionally the AllFather will do things up until 9:00 PM EDT, but Jewish Mama holds out hope he is usually abed long before that most nights...
