I finished Bioshock. Would you kindly like to give it a go? Anyway, I am playing Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts. It's great to play as the Panzer Elite. A shame, however, that it's not the eastern front. I would love to try out the Soviets.

I'm playing Company of Heroes too. Not Opposing Fronts though, just the first one. Pity there's no Axis campaign.

Try Opposing Front. The axis campaign is rather good.

I'll definitely add it to my list. Not bad for an RTS that's not a Total War title. :D

Speaking of which, would you kindly look at Empires Total War? It's stunning.

I've played a tiny bit of World in Conflict (more later). It seems a tiny bit America-centric in concept, and I'm not that good at this type of RTS, but it seems alright.

If only you could play as the Soviets. Great game, however.

Unusual, really. Most RTS games do offer (unlockable) campaigns for each faction. I suppose it's another element of the America-centrism of the game, allowing (in single player) only defence of the US and not assault on it.

(And that reminds me of yet another game I never completed: Ground Control II. That one had an unlockable alien faction campaign, but I barely scratched the human campaign.)

You can download it for free from Fileplanet, or I can send you the cd and manual in the mail.

I'm installing The Orange Box, which consists of Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.

It also comes with Half-Life 2 and Episode One, but since I own those, I think I'll give them as a gift to a friend.

I got the Black Box for free, yet I have to install it first.

Anyway, I've been busy playing Tabula Rasa. It's probably the best MMO I have played.

I heard you could only get the Black Box if you owned one those new ATI cards.

So Tabula Rasa is good, eh? I've known about it for a few years now, ever since Richard Garriott (its creator) left Origin (the people he made Ultima Online with).

As much as I like Garriott, I doubt there’ll ever be an MMORPG as deep as Ultima Online. That's the only game where they had town meetings, trials, bars; heck, I even got impeached and burnt at the stake! The biggest battle I ever attended was in Ultima Online: 150+ humans versus 40 orcs (the orcs were defending themselves inside a building against a "multinational" force, of sorts). The human army stretched for five computer screens!

A shame I never really tried UO. It sounds so much better than WoW.

We used to have battles like that in WoW before they introduced the Capture the Flag battlegrounds.

Now everyone who wants to do World PvP seems to goto the battlegrounds.

I finished HL2 Episode 2. Excellent stuff. The final Strider battle was amazing, as was the ending. A shame that nothing was really explained, however.

Halflife 2 has a plot? I thought the entire thing was a physics engine demo!
