I'd quote you from elsewhere in this forum and say, "The cheek!" -- but...well...

Thank you, Andy. We can always count on you to return dignity to this joint.
(I was secretly hoping that in response to my last post, somebody would say, "But?" To which I planned to reply, "Exactly." Alas, it didn't happen.

I just realized it's after 1am, and it's not a weekend.
Darn, and lately I've been doing so well about getting to bed earlier!

I'm ecstatic. I found out yesterday that the Pogues are touring to Denver in a small club, and within 8 hours later, I had tickets. It was $60, which is pretty hefty, but I had already paid over $300 to see them in Boston when I thought it was my only chance to see all the original members together again. I guess I was wrong, but I don't regret it.

Well, it's official...as soon as I hit my "send" button, I'll be gainfully employed once again, and on Monday I'll be at work.

I'm tired. After being on reduced hours at work for 15 months due to an ongoing illness, I've finally increased my workload to three-quarter time, and I'm definitely not used to it. Add to that a few extra hour over the last few days as a favour to a good friend and I'm beat. I'm off to bed to sleep the dreamless sleep of the exhausted. Night.
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

That is awesome! I saw them in a small venue in Toronto in the late 80's with MacGowan and they were absolutely excellent. Every band member had tremendous energy and all left the stage obviously drained. One of the better concerts I have seen. I am sure you will enjoy it.

Congrats again, Av. I especially like how you paused before you hit the "send" button to post here.

Thanks guys. It's a good thing, and I'll be relieved to be paid again, but a sad day for my lazy-ass freedom.

Just found out that my ex (the one that Luc and CJ met when we came down to SF) is engaged. There goes my plan of going back to him and begging on my knees for forgiveness.
I don't want to be melodramatic, but this could very well be the worst day of my life. It's certainly the worst I've felt in recollection.
That is all.
