It's always good to have a plan, Sea. :)

Sunny out this morning, but cold for this time of year. It's been cold this month. I've been holding a vacation day at the ready in order to get a round of golf in, there are a lot of deals at golf courses around here this time of year. However the weather hasn't been cooperating. :-x

Today i'm feeling lazy and summery. We've had cracking weather this last week, which is great as I've had it all off work except Thursday  ! I EVEN got sunburnt (though that's not a record I've been burnt in march before!) Lots of long weekends off work and trips away in the next three or so months. The summer starts here!

Upbeat yet lethargic. And stronger (emotionally and attitud....inally.....) than I've been for a while.

Bah. Feel strange for some reason. Can't put my finger on it. Just weird. I was hoping to do work on this paper I have due on Monday, but ended up with an unproductive Saturday.

I also noticed that I lost a filling in one of my back teeth on Friday. At least I think. It doesn't hurt or anything. But I feel a hole or something. Anyway, I have to find a dentist around here who has an opening soon so I can get this taken care of.

It's going to be a busy last couple of weeks of the semester, and I have a bunch of projects due for various classes.

I do have a PhD committee now though, and the first committee meeting is set for the begining of May. Yay... Heh.

Now to just get over this strange, bumish, feeling, heh. Maybe it's a sign I should just get to bed and start with a clean slate tomorrow.-jay

I'm doing okay. I ran an adventure for the first time tonight (2nd ED ADND), thought it went pretty good. I need practice for sure, but the quest wasnlt half bad. Lots of possesed villagers and evil statues come to life.

Other than that, I feel dandy. I'm getting more work in on my bike, which is nice. Still looking for work. Frickin' waiting time for job recalls.

I feel pretty down. It's been a bad couple of days for me:

1) My grandfather's cancer-count-thingy was 700--over 7 times higher than last month. It doesn't look good. And when I talked with him two days before the numbers came in, he told me "I don't know if I will get to see you again."

2) My Dad's doctor thinks he had a mini-stroke the other day. I won't know anything until tomorrow when he goes to the doctor.

3) My bill came for my urgent care visit. The total was $648. I seriously doubt that my insurance will pick up much of it. The best case scenario is that my cost will be $370.

4) My free ticket to Elohimfest may have fallen through. :(

*sigh*

aw Wylde, that is a real shame all the way around. i really hope you get to see your father, i know that if don't even want to think about having to go through something like that with my own.

at least the way the medical industry works with slow bookkeepers you should at least have some time before the ER bill hits your mailbox.

I...feel confused. And exhilerated. Someone on the NaNoWriMo forum was looking to write a vampire/werewolf parody, and people were suggesting various stereotypes and staples that should be included. One person suggested also including detective novel stereotypes, and I made a short, off-the-cuff post along the lines of "What, like this?" followed by a few lines of vampire-werewolf-detective stuff...and suddenly, this evening, I felt compelled to actually write the whole damn thing. This may be the first short story I've ever actually finished, with a proper ending and everything. It's certainly the first whole short story I've written in one sitting (about four hours, and the story clocks in at just over 5500 words).

I reiterate: I feel...confused...and exhilerated.

I feel excited to go home in about a month, sad to leave school though.

More immediately I feel really sleepy (despite (or because of?) sleeping all day, heh) and dread for my finals that are quickly approaching.
