Bloodguard Bob and I were working on the mopeds today and it was fun. We also took the doggies out to Golden Gate Park and walked around Stow Lake. We met several dogs of which the cutest was a french bulldog named Bill. Then while working on the mopeds, Lady Tam called and Bloodguard Bob had a blast pretending to be Santa on the phone for Danlo and Tam's daughter. It was adorably cute listening to her saying she was going to leave carrots for the reindeer and him telling her how thoughtful that was because they would be hungry and tired from such a long trip from the north pole. He did some great Santa laughing too. She also asked if Santa was bringing presents for her dog and cat and then insisted Santa talked to her Dad on the phone too. So adorable. We also ran into my co-worker Billy while shopping at Petco. Billy got to meet the infamous Moose and they got along ok.

As you may recall from our last exciting episode, I spent a good chunk of last Friday white-knuckling it down and up I-81 in Virginia to pick up Magickmaker from college in a blizzard. On Monday, we flew to Denver to spend the holiday with Batty and Shara.Lunison. Guess what I spent a chunk of today doing? Driving around Denver's south suburbs in a blizzard. And once again, I have prevailed! We're now ensconced in our hotel room once again, fortified with room service and watching people trying to negotiate the icy hill on Wadsworth in front of the hotel. Best show so far was an 18-wheeler...

To be completely morbid, I know I'd rather be in the 18-wheeler in case of an accident. Any car slamming into it would be toast. Or pancake.

Well, off to the GF's family for Christmas Eve dinner and all that. About 32°C today...Christmas in Africa... (I always laugh when I hear Christmas songs about snow and sleighs and stuff...touch out of place.)

Anyway, have fun and be safe, catch y'all tomorrow sometime. :D

I'm at work today. Usually we get off early, but not this year. Bah bumhug.

5 1/2 hours to go until Christmas begins (I am counting the entire time between when I get off work and when I have to be back as Christmas. And I have to be back at 3am on the 26th, dammit!)

Works for me, Cag. And I completely forgot to mention that we all had a great (albeit short, due to the crappy weather) visit with you and your little man last night. Magickmaker is presently showering to get the last of the drool off... ;)

He waited to really unload the barf until after you left. He's so considerate like that.

But seriously....that is the shyest I've ever seen him.

It's Christmas eve here in snowy Scotland, merry Christmas to all that are into the 25th December already.
Finally got all the wrapping and assembling done - phew!!!
Looking forward to being woken up early in the morning by two hyperactve children, although I'm not sure Daniel (5) will be as hyperactive as usual as he has got chickenpox and is feeling under the weather at the moment.

Best of luck with all the festivities you have planned for Christmas, all the best.

Phantasm.

It's going around, lorin. We're getting up at oh-dark-30 tomorrow to catch a plane back east. This vacation wasn't *nearly* long enough...

I'm not blue. I'm lounging in my pajamas with my doggles. I keep thinking he will get sick of the love sessions. I keep waking him up to snug him. Yesterday was a good day too. Cap'n Sorus made me laugh myself into tears at work. It is always a good day when I laugh so hard I can't function and tears run down my face. I keep picturing a Romulan invasion of OD and Sorus and I trying to speak german to them. Too funny. I think I am going to have to work that into an episode of Last Spaceboat.

You have neither holidays nor the blues, Stone? That's just not right, man...

And geez, Av, the one time I come here to say how I'm feeling and I get this from you...you backstabber! I wanna complain to the moderator of this here forum! I'll have you know that both lorin and I are exercising our right as free citizens to feel whatever way we darn well please.

All right, move along, everyone, nothing here to see...

Shoveling and brushing off the snow today. We've gotten maybe 6 inches today. I'm not complaining though. If the rain that fell yesterday would have been snow there probably would be a base of two feet for today's snow. I went into the next town, had a pizza and watched a bad movie starring Sinbad and the current governor of California. Jingle all the Way. Since they only used Sinbad in the blurbs the station was running for it on it, I figure Arnold probably threatened to sue if they used his name.

The family did the get together on Christmas eve and I had a good time. Yesterday was uneventful. Lounged around and ordered chinese - the only place in town that was open. I'm having the leftovers from that tonight.
