It's an area of the Land where Earthpower flows really close to the surface and there are lovely Gilden trees everywhere...... ;)

Actually, I'll let Fist and Danlo explain.

I talked about Andelain here:
kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=123572#123572
Unfortunately, the two links there don't seem to work anymore. But, as I say later, duchess posted a few. Impossible to do the place justice with pix, but they are nice:

Here's a few more I found:

Wow, stunning. Simply stunning.

Either Saturday or Sunday is good for me, although if we go on Saturday I would like to return at least a couple of hours before dinner to get ready.

Saturday would probably be a little rushed. Sunday would be a better day, IMO.

So- should I put in "Trip to Andelain" on Sunday in the main post? Could even be just a tentative thing.

I request many pictures to be taken Sunday, as I will have to leave Sunday morning to fly back to Indyland (couldn't get time off from work)

I'm actually more comfortable with that prospect than with putting on swimwear. But, no one else will want to be exposed to either...

See?!?! Sidetracked about clothes. (Or lack thereof.)

Does anyone second the motion for a T-Shirt idea thread?

I saw the picks of last time and danlo had a "100% unbeliever" shirt. It's just NOT FAIR if this time I get to go but there's no shirt!!!

My girls will look cute-but-strange wearing their "I <heart> lepers" T-shirt. Or whatever we go with. I bet some other people would look cute, too.

I just posted this in another thread, and as I see SRD is going to be there Saturday, I'm going to see about making this happen.

Okay, hi folks. I know I'm new around here, but this sounds like a blast, and if SRD is there, I may have to be too. I live in Denver, wouldn't be able to go until Saturday, but if anyone is flying in, doesn't want to drive alone (I'd be happy to drive if you are renting a car), go halfsies on a room, and even might want to stay Friday night in Denver (my girlfriend and I have a spare bedroom), I can't promise anything, but I might be able to assist. Please know this is a might at this stage.

Hey! very cool news-I had a bad feeling about the Rock Room at The Cooperage--it seemed too small, so I went back today and switched to The Atrium. Three huge semi-circular booths, big and airy and bi-level-surrounded by soundproof (from the street) glass. Tons of plants-it then goes down another level to the bar and the dance floor. We have it from 6 to 8:30 when the dance crowd begins to show up. We basically have this huge quiet space to us until then--I guarantee it's 10 times cooler than Garduno's facility we used for E-fest '04. (and no danger of a Mariachi attack! )

btw...100% Unbeliever shirts have always been for sale on Jay's cafepress shop-see stickied thread in TCTC forum

Couldn't you guys postpone until next April when I'll be in Santa Fe? ;)
