Bugger thought we had a perfect GMT to rest of the world time ... getting a oerfect time is going to be tricky ... of that I am positive.
Ive got a GMT Timebie ap thing .. nominate a time and Ill use it to see if it will calculate - relative UK, US, SA, AUS hrs. 24hr clock as its a clearer result. And of course work out the right day lol ..
.. theres been no end to my rumfugery
I dont think these aps always get it right .. how can that be
But so far just checking into CB has been fun, chatted to Cordy and Linna .. so thats been great. Lets share the love peeps

Watcher Chat in about an hour, if anyone is... watching!
Monday, 21:30-22:30 GMT
j/k, you wake up super-early, don't you?
I read this as "The 04:30 GMT time might work on a weekday sometime."
That's between 8:30pm / 9:30pm / 10:30pm / 11:30pm for peeps here in the States... which means after work for most.

Well, you should go to bed later, Av!Avatar wrote: Oh yeah, I'm usually offline on the weekends.
And Linna's proposed time is no good for me...after my bed time.

They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.

How early is early?
Is it as long as a piece of string
I'm glad we finally have times sorted - GMT 0430hrs to 0530hrs.
Keep popping by if you have nothing else on
I missed our scheduled chat meet today as things went sloppy here lol buff said
But if I'm good - I'll pop by ..
TODAYS CHATMEET was favoured by way friend StevieG and Linna.
Later in the day I saw samwise but wasn't around long enough to chat bane, but caught up shortly thereafter with the mighty Sorus, bunny-slayer and all round good guy and the ever magnificent Linna winner! Its so fun having meets and greets.
Keep up the good work and I'm heading into town soon for supplies - might get me a bottle of beer for our next chatmeet.
Why not?? Its summer, frigg'n hot and I've been hard at it long before we get even close to my AEST
And the shit I've had on today - I deserve me a nice treat!

Some people do not believe that people in Australia really are upside down. So I posted this picture to show that it is absolutely true. The next question people ask, of course, is why don't they fall off the earth if they are upside down? The answer, of course, is gravity. We have gravity that pulls us down. They are filled with helium which lifts them up. Which is pretty lucky for them, considering where they live.

Skyweir- and SD and samr3wlz popped in for the WatcherChat as well!
Thaaaank you peoples - it was fun.
Look at those stick figures!
"We are only going to concern ourselves with people who live at the North Pole, South Pole, or Equator."
I am therefore throwing out everything you said.
Try again.
Well, except maybe the helium part sounds reasonable.
(Sorry, guys. wf and I got into this on the Watcher chat, and I'd really felt he'd shifted to a more reasonable stance.... but he won't let it rest!!!)

So all us "under-earthers" are filled with gas, but not just any gas, specifically 'helium' ... So just how does one respond to such blatant and offensive stereotyping and ethnocentric discrimination
Well I suggest we test this "theory". *Walks over to shed and collects her Mass Spectrometer Helium Detector .. *waves it over horse* .. nothing .. *waves it over dogs* ... nothing .. *waves it over cattle* .. nada .. *waves it over self* .... nothing
So clearly the living things in close proximity to myself an including myself .. are not .... leaking or venting helium. Ok so I have just proven .... errrr ...well that the southern hemisphere organisms tested are all hermetically sealed
What do all who contain even small quantities of helium share in common?? Yes ... you're right .. you in the back of the room!
Yes we talk like chipmunks ... umm .. *COUGHS* ....I mean .. THEY .. umm .. they talk like chipmunks!!
So I offer as conclusive proof....
- the dogs don't talk like chipmunks,
- the cats don't talk like chipmunks,
- the horses don't talk like chipmunks,
- the cattle do not talk like chipmunks and finally
- I myself do not talk like a chipmunk ...*she sings in the best baritone she can muster*
(It's not at all uncommon for an Aussie's every day communication to be in song - in fact our entire lives are not unlike high-end musicals )
geez Wayfriend
That was the most accurate part of way friend's entire "theory"!! Yep a head, two arms and two legs .. covered off on all the basicsLinna's stick figure observation
Does banana dance for Linna

Helium kangaroos would be hilarious though. Especially since the first person to successfully import one to the other side of the world would have watched it float away after the first hop. Sadly, the lack of floating kangaroo videos on YouTube is enough to bust that myth.
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
