"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."

We can call it "Old School" instead of "Old Fashioned",
I think it sounds cooler.

Yeah. I'm not sure either but I think some obvious change is in order.Avatar wrote:I like it...but I wanna know what way is that? Like...how the board used to look or something?

Certainly a new ITEM can be designed to buy with white gold dollars that states "15 years of KW" or something.

I meant a bunch of us using some version of wf's meme for an avatar to celebrate the 15th anniversary reunion thing...
Then that would show up all over the board... and it would be decorated.
By a concerted group of us.
And not just me having a weird-looking avatar all by my lonesome.
...
Guys? Guys?
Also... yes, the homepage was great.

I was telling a friend recently how this one organization's website was delightfully unpretentious with sort of "old-skool internet" bright colors.
She started giggling and then went, "Like '90's web design?"
Me: "Yes, kind of!"
In defense of my aesthetics, I mainly meant I found that front page very useful for sucking me into TCoTC discussions...
