We went to see "Transformers! yesterday! It was awesome! The kids all loved it! Just as I was going to bed, a neighbor behind us was shooting off fireworks. So we didn't end up missing them, but I was a bit nervous about them burning down my home. Yikes. No harm, no foul.

Heh... no Foul... heh

Heh...

And I told you privately that I didn't want to ask "on board" if he still planned to do it, so that I wouldn't remind him.

Don't forget he also got some Peeps...

Wicked good! I also enjoy the ice cream cone-shaped marshmallows. I have a bag of them at the moment, saved up for tomorrow night's Kurosawa movie-thon.

Hrm. . . fighting off a migraine, so not feeling so good right now.

However, have had a smashing week--had the previous 5 days off, and saw a truly great concert--Sting and the Police--on Monday night. I didn't need to drink any beer (ended the show in a puddle of it courtesy of my neighbor to the front) or smoke any weed (c'mon. . . everyone who had one busted it out when they played Marley's Get Up, Stand Up as a crowd warmer!) to make this a great show. Course, I did have fun watching REALLY DRUNK GUY raise his glass to the band at the begining of each song--not to mention his mad air-guitar skillz during particularly rousing moments in the concert.

Fabulous band + great setlist + consumate performers= perhaps the best concert I have seen!

Crappy.

I bummed a ride home from my friend Kyle, who had space for my bike. I was getting some wicked stomach cramps in the lower intestines for the last few hours.

Weak. :? :(

Bummer Cail, hope the damage (to your wallet) isn't too bad. Funniest one I ever saw was when we met the GF's father for lunch one day. Leaving the pub, he jumped on the Kawa he was riding at the time and pulled off, completely forgetting the heavy duty chain locked through the spokes. (This being South Africa, such things are necessary.) Needless to say, he didn't get far. :D

As for me, I'm feeling great. :D Boss gone, so leaving early today, turn over (finally), annoying stuff that I've been putting off for a month or more done...it can hardly be better. :D

I give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The closest friend I have here turns out to be bisexual. Do I care. Well, no...not really...only after she'd had a lot of wine she decided that she'd hit onto me and after her bearing her breasts to me for the third time I said "well, I'm kinda tired and I think I'll go to bed now."

I'm a friendly, easygoing person...but why do people think....

<sigh> f*ck it! I'm sick of this crap. Is this a small town "thing" or...WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!

No wonder I don't make friends with women! What's the deal! Every time I start having intimate CONVERSATIONS with women they suddenly feel this is their opportunity to...

...<sigh> Sorry guys. I'll go crawl into my hole.

How do I feel: WTF is going on! I say!

Another one of those days--woke up with a terrible headache, spent half the day just lying down with my eyes closed. I'm trying to get myself to eat right now, since I had nothing for lunch, but I don't have much of an appetite.
