I know, I've had some nasty looks from ignorant a-holes (always males, btw) when I go to the store with Hayden and they see his helmet, like, "Just what in the hell did you do to your poor kid, a-hole!!??"

Lore, you should come to Chicago and visit the U-505 at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Interesting.

My experience has been the snooty "I would never allow my child to behave like that!!" look from both sexes as Beorn stimmed under the flourescent lights in places like Wal-Mart from simply being overwhelmed. If they only knew how much discipline the kid was subjected to before we had any idea it wasn't behaviourial related...

Danlo, you should get Hayden a Racer X t-shirt for when you take him out! Then people might think its a fashion statement! Seriously though, just give them nasty looks back.

I had to fill out a 18 page form about myself, family medical history, personal stuff/beliefs/interests and the like. It's all really interesting. Also, I have to attach lots of pictures of myself as a child. I'm going to go through my baby book this weekend, it'll be fun :) I was a damn cute kid.

It's something I've been planning on doing for a while, but I just got started. It's going to be a good thing. I'll be helping someone who really needs it, and more likely than not, deserves it. That's a good feeling.

Wadds that is fantastic. How bery great and giving of you!! I admire greatly people who donate.

I swear the U-505 is a cursed ship - with one its captain's suiciding, the Gestapo shootings of French workers, the strange sounds . . . . But I'd love to see it in person.

Busy weekend huh? Congrats SJ and all the best. Lore get better. Wadds congrats I think. (Love the Edgetar btw.) Danlo, keep the faith man. Much admiration for the two of you.

Good news for us, GF's father is awake and lucid and responsive, will be fine once the broken bones heal. Doesn't appear to be any lasting brain injury.

Otherwise, weekend was good. :)

...not off to a good start to the school year...

The bus arrived half an hour late, after 1st period already started. This means Beorn missed breakfast, and he'll be even later as he has to go to Resource first to sign out his alpha-smart for the year.

I hope this doesn't trigger a breakdown in processing for the entire day...

The mere fact that there might be were-huahuas out there makes my skin shiver. Such a being would be thousands upon thousands of times more terrifying than even the were-virgin.

There are many, many varieties of Were-virgin. There's the kind that becomes a virgin again each time it enters a relationship, the kind that just gets really drunk and can't remember losing its virginity...

... then there's the kind that involves superglue and a tire patch.

Listen. I'm a retired demon slayer. I like being retired. What part of retired do these werehuahuas not understand?
