Day 10 of 11. Just have to make it through tomorrow without killing anyone, and I'll have a weekend.

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

I remember when that stretch started...
I am so glad you're almost done!

Can I throw a party?
Wait, I think I know the answer to that... ("no.")

I've managed to forget what day/month/year it is, and I've taken to double-checking that I have pants on when I leave for work in the morning. No close calls, but still. I turned down a promotion a few days ago, so I must be doing something right.

:haha:
Though... as far as what year... it's only April so you don't look too silly if you write 2015...
(right? people, I don't look too silly if I'm still on 2015, right?)

Oh man... I remember this one place I worked at... supervisors were on salary, so umm... yeah; they worked soooooo many hours each week...
(I was fortunate I never got any of the supervisor positions I applied for, I think.)

I'm working on a new roleplaying game (Pantheon style) for a coworker. they're super interested, so i'm running a short one to introduce them to the style. :D

I've shown other people the Pantheon rules and gotten lukewarm responses. It was nice to get them back this time and see photocopies in their hands! :D

I dream of the day computers are good enough to run Pantheon. It'll probably take full-blown AI to do it though.

Still, imagine having it rendered in VR, and the computer can understand and produce whatever you can imagine, instead of only pre-programmed options... :D

oh man that's the DREAM. Imagine the size of those tables and lists it would pull from. :D

I'm here browsing after my bike ride home from work. New route is easier but it encourages me to kick my own butt.

The dream is that it wouldn't need tables and lists. Not in a conventional sense anyway.

The only way it could be possible is if it understood what you wanted, instead of matching it to an existing instruction. Which means AI.

Maybe if Google's machine learning ever gets good enough...

I am readying for a messed up week. :D Wed is a public holiday, and so is next Monday. So...2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, long weekend, 4 day week.

:D
