Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Post by Holsety »

Yes, that's right, Attorney. Phoenix Wright is a NDS game where you play as an attorney defending clients (invariably for murder, at least in the 1st game). You investigate crime scenes, dig up evidence, and end up convicting someone else for whatever murder you're examining. All in all it's more a detective game than a lawyering game, and not a very difficult one at that, but it is fun. Makes good use of the stylus, and there's an extra case if anyone on here played the SP version which was Japan only (so I doubt anyone has). Interestingly, although I've found most "add ons" to games are stupid card games and stuff that make games easier, the 5th case is actually pretty good.

You might want to rent it if possible, since it's a pretty quick playthrough and there isn't really anything new you can do.

You can see a trailer shown from the tokyo game show here: youtube.com/watch?v=jns2Dlv9S9w. It's not extremely hilarious or anything but check it out. There's another much more flash trailer at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=syAJyKyfomY&NR
