For me, it has to be "Stop making Sense" by the Talking Heads.

I don't have any concert DVDs... I just wanted to say that this: "It's like the Staff of Common Sense got broken, and all the idiots are running amok in my mental Andelain...." is the best line ever. EVER.
I'm going to print it up and put it on my moniter and when my coworkers ask what it means I'll tell them that if they dont know, they'll never understand.
Ok, ok, back to you concert thing. Sorry for attempting to derail.

I like Incubus - 'Alive at Red Rocks' and Rage Against the Machine - 'Live in Some where i cant remember.''
Not seen to many though, so mabye these are not the best ever.

"Stop Making Sense" is a GREAT concert movie. Good choice dan.
One of my faves is also Crimso's "Live in Japan: from the 1984 tour. However, I have seen bits of Bowie's "Glass Spider" tour on video years ago and was blown away by it. I have not seen all of it though.... I will have to check that out...
Oh! Just remembered one.
Although I cannot say he is "my cup of tea", Prince's "Sign O the Times" is a very good concert movie. I was very impressed with the music variety and visuals.

I loved the concert scenes in 'Purple Rain', so I'm up for getting that. Some others in my collection I really like are Joni Mitchell's "Shadows & Light", because Jaco is just off the charts amazing in it, Joe Cocker's "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" (tho I only have seen that on VHS and Brazillian dvd), U2's "Rattle & Hum", Roy Orbison's "Black & White Night", and Bruce Springsteen's "Born To Run".

Rush's 30th anniversery tour DVD (their most recent tour). Outstanding audio, fantastic performance, and a great set list.
The Led Zepplin DVD Cail mentioned is also amazing. Given that the source material is about as old as the band Rush, I'm blown away by the audio/video quality.
