has anyone heard of devas , they are ( or are presumed to be ) the energy which holds everything together , kind of like a protector of the flower , animal , table etc... these in a way remind me of the valar ..if they had been destroyed and spread out amoung the world....
also does anyone ( other than the strange mind which is mine!) see a bizzare link between the writings describing the land and middle earth
it seems to be that when the third age of man on middle earth ended there were a lot of changes taking place , changes which seem to lead on to the history of the land ..would donaldson have intentionally carried on the story of middle earth with a new name .......they share some uncanny similarities ???
just throwing a few ideas out there ? anyone respond with anything just for interests sake ..see where it goes!

I heard something about them
I heard of them in the Islam religion--as spirit beings in the Koran--I've also hear of them being refered 2 as Avatars...get back 2 u on that!
