Help us (quickly) design Elohimfest '07 t-shirts & stuff

Post by danlo »

www.cafepress.com/kevinswatch>this is Jay's cafepress shop where you can find 100% Unbeliever T-Shirts and other related TCTC stuff. cafepress.com/elohimfest>this is my shop, where I've taken down most of the '04 Fest stuff, but there still is a Mordant's Need t-shirt for sale.

Last time Kayseryn and aTOMiC designed the t-shirts-you can put stuff on shirts front and back. What I did, once the design was completed, was give my password to those guys and they went in there and uploaded their templates on to the shirts. However my place is the 'cheapie' package so there are a limited number of styles and colors of shirts.

So we need Luci's shop and mousepad established immediately (or she can use my shop) and artists to create the designs ASAP. Such memorable shirts from last time were-

(Thanks, danlo!)

I for one don't want to reuse old '04 stuff. I want new '07 stuff! (And don't the people who went last time want new stuff, too!)

We had some ideas from the other thread:

"Thirty years of hellfire and bloody damnation."

"Our fatal revenant can kick your deathly hallow's ass."

Any other ideas? I'm just a slogan man. Anyone with photoshop skills?

ok...i'll get the mousepad thing going this weekend.

it's gonna be Matrixman's screenshot of our literati game where he spelled Covenant, and i'm gonna have my friend photoshop Elohimfest 2007 on it as well.

i'll send her the screen shot tonight via email and she'll photoshop the tiles in to say elohimfest and then i'll get the cafe press acct. k?

this is gonna be fun.

btw, i think we should just get yellow tshirts that say "Ocher Tshirt" on them. heh.

Seconded:

"Our fatal revenant can kick your deathly hallow's ass."

"Ochre Shirt"

I second both of these, although my first preference is to the first one.

I vote for this one, and I think that we should present a shirt to SRD as well.

I would be all over this shirt! "Butt" might work better, though. I'm not a huge fan of wearing curse words on my shirts.

I like the "Ochre Shirt" one. And the "30 years of" is good also. I'm of Alynna's mind, though - I don't normally wear t's the have words on them. Can they make some with a small emblem of writing over the left breast (and nothing on the back)?

Also, for the "I Missed" T, I'd suggest putting "I" and "Missed" on the same line if you go with that one. The "I" on its own line doesn't look right.

And here are a few (certainly not serious) suggestions:

When Life Gives You Lepers, Make Leperade.

or ...

When Life Gives You Lepers, Find a Giant To Tell You Gay Stories.

Okay - not remotey funny. But if there's a picture of a Leper in a hot tub, with stuff falling off? And someone stirring it? Naw - I can't even squeeze something funny out of if *that* way! One of those hopeless days for me I guess. :-)

Scratch a leper, find a hero? *sigh* They're just getting worse. Put me down for the Ocher Shirt one. (they're going to BE ocher, right? have we figured out what color that actually is?)
And then the ravens pecked out his eyes.

Yeah, stay away from the leper humor is my instinct.

Got no new ideas today...

I like the Deathly Hallows reference the best -- but, yeah, without the a-word.

The "30 years" one is my second fave.

But I wouldn't object to owning an "Ocher Shirt", either.

Say -- what about "One small rape for a leper..."? Naaaah....

Do we need a poll?

"Our fatal revenant can kick your deathly hallow's butt" ?? Hmmm...

How about "all your deathly hallows bases are belong to fatal revenant" ? No ...

"Our fatal revenant pwns your deathly hallows" Uh-uh ....

How about, "I attended Elohimfest '07 and all I got was this ochre t-shirt"?

Remember Elohimfest '94 when everyone had the same idea to wear an ochre robe to dinner? That was funny. :D
