Jim Aparo

Post by dlbpharmd »

When I think about Batman comics, I think about Jim Aparo. From The Brave & The Bold series to Batman and the Outsiders, I grew up loving the distinctive art of Batman.

Here's some good stuff:

(I also loved the way Aparo drew The Joker!)

Aparo's work really is what comes to mind when I think of Batman. Considering how long Batman has been out there, I suppose others may have drawn him for as long or longer, but he's the one I saw most. Very good stuff!

I love Aparo too. He draws the best "real world" batman...before he got all Dark Knight-y!

There is something about the blue and grey of the aparo batman costue that I love too!
