I ran across an interesting news item at the BBC which discusses increased interest in an old method of treating infections, bacteriophages; virus that can attack specified bacterial infections.

Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one.

yea, this all looks great on the surface, but before ya know it they'll be sleeping together..... ;)

I've always appreciated the "natural" approach, and this reminds me of when maggots were "re-discovered" as being a wonderful treatment for wounds and gangrene, etc. We've lost so much knowledge to "progress", I've kinda lost "faith" in "science".
