Family Guy Star Wars episode

Hopefully everyone is watching this. It's not even over yet, and I have to say this is one of the best hours of television I've ever seen. This thing should get an Emmy.

Yeah, that was f'ing hilariouos. Loved the part with the Rush guy asking how Lando got control of the Cloud City Mining Facility. And yeah, better than the Robot Chicken one.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

"They're coming too fast!"

"If I had a nickel for every time that happened..."

The whole thing was great, love to see them do one for Empire now.

Yes. Loved it. It's on my dvr for repeated viewings. An hour of total fun. I wish more television was as enjoyable. :-)

I enjoyed it, but I'd have to say that my only complaint is that they pretty much rode off of the original too much. It felt a bit like sitting around the tv with Seth and the gang and hearing them do a MST3K version of it. It's just that you don't hear them having to talk over the dialogue. Still, it was enjoyable. I guess I hoped for something a little better.
