I didn't understand half of the stuff questioned about. What do vouchers have to do with education?

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Wanted to pick a third or fourth option in almost every case but since that wasn't available I picked what more closely agreed with my opinion even if I thought the choice was far too extreme, even if I only leaned 51% to 49% on any given issue. Fascinating what result you get when you strip away all of the gray area.

Hrm, Pretty conservative, but apparently much more that most of you ;)

I agree with most of you. I wanted to choose 'C:' but there was no C so I had to choose what was closest and in some cases that was a stretch

Something must be wrong with the test . . . I didn't score 100% conservative. :) Seriously, I don't see how I scored 50% liberal on personal responsibility. Perhaps I accidentally checked the wrong answer.

I'll quote you b/c of your name...a good example was the guns one. I mean, come on, either you think it's admirable or sketchy? You can't be in between about it?

The SS was another one: maybe I think it should be fixed, but I don't think that simply making companies pay more will magically make it better.

How Liberal Or Conservative Are You?

“...The conversations had a nightmare flatness, talking dice spilled in the tube metal chairs, human aggregates disintegrating in cosmic inanity, random events in a dying universe where everything is exactly what it appears to be and no other relation than juxtaposition is possible.”

“There are two kinds of sufferers in this world: those who suffer from a lack of life, and those who suffer from an overabundance.”

"Meantime we shall express our darker purpose."
