The Omega Man is being re-made. I saw a trailer for it this weekend. The name will be 'I Am Legend" which I believe is the name of the book it was adapted from.

There never was a Foundation movie, so I'd think that would be defining, not redefining. I'm sure anything will be better than the trainwreck of an original movie this was, all due respect to Heston's neckerchief 
. Seriously, this movie's "theme" struck me hard at an early impressionable age, and I have always fantasized about being The Omega Man ever since.......prolly why I love Mad Max so much, heh. Nothing like having noone in the world tell you what to do.

I agree as well. But I really enjoyed I Robot even though it bore no resemblance to its source.

There is no Robot book that had that story in it, for sure. I, Robot itself was a collection of short stories. And there were definite changes to the characters. Susan Calvin, for instance, was described by Asimov as being very plain looking.
