Well known fiction author help please

Post by Chrysalis »

I'm trying to put a list together of well known fiction authors of the 17th, 18th and 19th century with surnames that fall between Me - Os and Wa - Wi.
For example:
Larry Niven, Meade, Michael Moorcock (sp) H.G Wells.

Any others that you can think of would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you both. I'd missed a couple of those on my list!
