Really cool show. I only started watching it a year or so ago, and I'm sure I've missed some of the episodes.

I dunno, sometimes I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like Jessica Alba, at all.

Sure, she's cute, but can't compell anything in me aside from mild annoyance.

(I am completely and totally in love with Hayden Panettiere though)

DA was extremely cool. Alas, as with most shows, it got stupid. Soap operay. Silly things here and there. But damn could she kick some ass!! :D

Y'know, I have to admit the same. I do think she is hot, but really did dislike her little quips on the show. I watched most of the first season, mainly because the girlfriend enjoyed it, and I'll admit I thought they had something there. It was somewhat compelling. Until the second season. Then it seemed very dumb of the few episodes I watched. Maybe I didn't give it much of a chance. But yeah, I don't think much of Jessica Alba as far as acting skills. It's all physical for me, from appearance to just watching her kick ass. She does that well on the show. But physical attraction loses a lot if I don't respect them.

Yep. I'm in the same camp with The Dreaming and Cags. I remember being really excited about watching the first episode but then afterward thinking "hmmmmm...that was okay but..."
I watched a few episodes and then dropped off. Alba really didn't do much for me as that character. Now that I think of it she's kind of annoying as Susan Storm too. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Just personal tastes. The quality potential of Dark Angel was obvious but somehow it was a swing and a miss for me.

I got Season 1 for my birthday. I was telling Christy about it, giving her the basic rundown. She said, "You only watch it because she's hot." Well, I hardly watch any tv at all the last several years. BSG is about it. So when we watch anything together, it's always her stuff. So she gave it a try.

Turns out she really likes it! :D We've only watched the 2-hour pilot, and the next two episodes so far. But she keeps suggesting we watch the next episode.

And she is, except in the Fantastic Four movies.

My wife, who never acts jealous, started questioning me when DA was originally on saying I only watched it for the hot chick. Was I drooling or something? <grin>. So out of consideration I quit watching after the first few S2 episodes.

A few years ago, I picked up S1 and S2 DVDs and watched them to see what I missed. Althought the story wandered in S2, I enjoyed Dean of Supernatural's, Alex character. And even Dog boy grew on me.
