Wonder Woman has been cast

Post by wayfriend »

Wonder Woman is 100% going to be...

... There have been many names associated with the role of Wonder Woman in George Miller's Justice League flick. One of those names has been chosen and a spy known as The 9th Complex sent in word that Australian Who Magazine claims they know who it is. They say it's this girl... [link]

I have voted "no", but have done so in ignorance as I have no idea as to whether or not she can ACT. Also, it looks like she has a nasty bunion.

Meh, she's pretty, but how many models can act? On the other hand, how much acting is required for Wonder Woman?

She's definitely hot enough to be Wonder Woman.

She looks plain-vanilla super model to me. Meets the archetypes for beauty but nothing distinctive or endearing like Lynda Carter. Hell--I think the animated Wonder Woman in Justice League Unlimited looks more intriguing.

Mother of God! That second picture is unbelievable!!!! 8O 8O 8O

Anyway, everybody was all, "Oh, she's just there for T&A" when 7 of 9 joined Voyager. And, yeah, her T&A was prime, and they played it up very well. However, she was the best, most dramatic, most insightful part of the show, imo. Like with Data, trying to understand human behavior, she made us question ourselves. Point being, just because this babe playing WW is a babe of much quality, doesn't mean she can't act.

Point taken! :) Certainly, one need not look far for unbelievably HOT babes who are also incredibly good actors. Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johansson come to mind. 8)

I also agree about 7 of 9 and Data. They were among the most interesting characters in the Trek universe, and yes, they by their very nature helped to underline the "human adventure" that is at the heart of Star Trek.
