I would like to announce (euphemism for dancing in the streets) that a book written by our very own Xar has been listed as an EPPIE finalist.
The book is NORTH STAR, and the EPPIEs are the premier American ebook awards. The EPPIEs are so prestigious that being a finalist is a matter for celebration, and whoever wins can consider it gravy.
You can find Xar's Twin Worlds website at twinworlds.wordpress.com/

Outstanding.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and
active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
