Looks interesting. Saw a friend play one like it (a lot like it) a while back and it looked like a lot of fun. Might give this one a go.

Edit: Looking around, that mod I saw him playing may in fact have been the HL1 version of this one.

I've heard that the HL1 version was very good.

There are a number of Zombie Mods for CS:S, but they all suck, horribly so. Reasons they suck include:

#1: CS:S has no way for you to move things except shooting them. It's hard to barricade yourself well.
#2: The most popular zombie mod for CS:S gives zombies about 2000 Life. They're next to impossible to kill.
#3: You become a zombie the instant one hits you. There is literally no way to defend yourself.

Zombie Panic seems to be the best thing you can have next to an actual zombie attack.

Looks good.

I still play the HL mod "They Hunger" all the time.
It's more survival horror than FPS; I always forget this after playing HL2, and then get eaten when I run out of ammo!

I think there's a HL2 Gmod zombie survival out there too.

My friend played Zombie Panic religiously, but ever since I gave him Half-Life 2 as a gift, he just plays Pirates Vikings and Knights II. He convinced me to play it too, though I think the mod is half-baked.

I'm sure he'll revert to Zombie Panic, once the HL2 version hits. As far as zombie mobs, I've only played Brainbread, which I thought was all right, if you like co-op play.

Is it free if you already have CS:S and HL2? (But not the Orange Box :()

They Hunger was bloody brilliant . . . at least until they added the cybernetic stuff in parts two and three. Still, that mod had an awesome opening hour or so.

It's free as long as you have Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. I think that's correct.

However, it now looks as if the devs of the mod are jackasses who aren't going to release it until it gets voted #1 mod of the year.

I feel really sad for my friend, who's nuts for Zombie Panic but has a dead comp at the moment. His little sister had decided to play World of Warcraft while defragging the comp. Heh.

Were you in the #zombiepanic chat with the devs where they said they weren't gonna release it till more people voted? :P

Also, Lord Foul: Gordon Freeman gets terminated for failure to preserved mission vital equipment. I don't see any reason this guy's sister can't be likewise terminated.

She is a douche. I could make a whole thread--no, a forum--about her douche-ness.

Does she want to go to college for Comp Sci. and Engineering because she's really good at typing and AIM and it can't possibly be that hard to do all that stuff with wires?
