Leave Stickied?

Post by Menolly »

Now that we are finished with the first book, my intent was to leave the dissections stickied for a week after the last one went up, then to unsticky them and make a stickied Index instead. However, we seem to have drawn a few new readers to the group read in the past couple of days.

So, should I leave the PS/SS chapters stickied until we do begin dissecting CoS? Or shall I go ahead and unsticky them now?

I, for one, am a Watcher who doesn't really like a lot of stickies at the top of a sub-forum, but I am willing to leave them like this until we start the next book, if everyone else would prefer we do so.

I'll leave the poll active for a week, until Saturday, March 8th.

I liked the third option of leaving it stickied until COS starts then creating an index since there are so many chapters, COS has 18 chapters 8O and thus it's going to be a long dissection... but then so will the others...
Hopefully we'll have a larger sign-up next go around but I'm willing to multi-chapter if others are.
What's nice is seeing more replies to past chapters which is showing increasing interest. :)

I voted to leave them stickied until the new book dissection starts.

Late vote, since I can't figure out how to post it right - unsticky it, and index. I am biased, of course, because I'm about to look for a Year 7 movie post...

Say, is there a reason that there are a bunch of stickies that haven't been posted in for three years at the top?

Enquiring minds and all that... ;)

I'm hoping that someone one day will get the dissections kick started again? My intent is to leave the dissections for each book stickied until we move on to the next one.

Is that a problem for the server, Av?

Nah, not at all. Just seemed odd to have threads which haven't been posted in for so long up at the top is all.

Carry on. :D
