Dave Stevens, the artist of the Rocketeer, died yesterday at age 52. Stevens had dropped out of sight for the most part in recent years and had been battling leukemia, a fact which he kept as private as possible.

Damn...I really loved his work at Kitchen Sink; his style was very 40's. He'll be missed.

Never saw the movie. But yeah, his art was very good. Kinda young to die, too.

Yeah, and she never looked better than in that flick. Kind of like Cameron Diaz in 'The Mask'; it's just spectacular.
