The Inseqent

Post by Würd-o »

Did anyone else catch that each of the Insequent have something to do with wardrobe?

The Theomach's shroud.

The Mahdoubt's gown.

The Vizard's rags.

The Harrow's accessories.

Could this be because covering one's own nakedness, and assuming a raiment of necessity apart from our true selves, is the first act of theurgy?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Come away O human child
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand
For the world's more full of weeping
Than you can understand

Interesting.... I never quite made the connection before. I DID notice how the Harrow keeps fidgeting with his beads, and teh Mahdoubt is kinda obvious, but I didn't realize that the Theo and Vizard wore any special attire....

Definitely a purpose, I'd say...

"The Insequined"? :)

But seriously. The Insequent, being the Land's resident wizards, seem to don a persona that includes a name, a style of dress, an area of expertise, and other things. Sort of like superheroes. ("Ware, I am the Spidermach!") Their reputation and appearance seems very important to them, and I consider it a form of vanity that might be a weakness.
