Hellboy II: The Golden Army

Post by Wyldewode »

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm excited about the new Hellboy movie. Guillermo del Toro is directing again, and judging from the trailer, it looks to be awesome.

I do have one critique though:
Spoiler
The bad guys look like escaped Wraiths from Stargate: Atlantis.

I read something about it on IMDB a couple of months ago, and yeah, I'm actually excited about it too, and I don't usually get that way for sequels.

Hadn't really thought about it, but I'm just glad that Ron is back.

I find it funny that when Pan's Labyrinth was released, it advertised "From the maker of Hellboy" or whatever, which I always thought was rather a dubious movie to be advertising with the movie. It is also strange to see the other way around now, but makes a bit more sense as the snobby art types (like myself) got interested in Pan's Labyrinth where no so many did with the original Hellboy movie. I just find it funny.

Did I read correctly that del Torro is the director for the new Harry Potter movie, or am I dreaming that?

I'm relieved. . . I was wondering how del Torro's vision would work with HP. :)

Finally, I get to see Selma Blair as Liz Sherman again! I tell you, I almost bought a dvd the other day that was an obvious chick flick, just because Selma was in it...... :grinlove:

I'm excited. I loved the first Hellboy. Ron Perlman is the man!
