Double You. Tea. Eff.
ROGER??? EFFING ROGER???
Ok, I haven't really finished Part 1 yet. I'm still on Ch. 11. But I got a little carried away and started skimming ahead (even though I forced myself for so long not to do so). But seriously...
ROGER??? REALLY?
WTF.

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

That was pretty much my reaction too. Other people have claimed to have seen that scenario coming, but it totally took me by surprise.kevinswatch wrote:ROGER??? EFFING ROGER???

I probably should have guessed it. I mean, we knew it wasn't Covenant. And Lord Foul would have been too obvious. A Raver? Already been there. And Kastenessen wouldn't make much sense.
I guess Roger was the only possible character. But still, I wasn't really expecting it since it just seems so out there... I mean...ROGER???

umm...I can only suggest..since I noticed your state of tiredness..that a read of the opening Chapter of FR,,in the Dissection forum...may bring you to a less weary state of mind,,as you progress...Then again..doing so may really exhaust you. I don't know.Bah. But I'm just so tired of reading about Linden...

If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.

Still, you really should learn to read a little faster. It's already been 7 months since FR's release!kevinswatch wrote:Bah. But I'm just so tired of reading about Linden...Seareach wrote:Tut tut. I once p'offed a date because i made a wedge of cheese cake last for over 10 minutes. I savored every thin slice of it. It was delicious. Perhaps she was jealous.

If she was a positive thinker you were giving her a clear indication of good times ahead!
Yeah, ahead.

ROFLMFAO!!!!
Soda pop.... sinuses..... oh, the agony!
But back to the topic. I knew who was really who when I read this section in the first chapter of the book:
That pretty much did it for me. But, how Roger could look like Thomas, never mind know as much as he knew about the land, was beyond me. But it DOES make sense that Roger didn't know how Thomas had earned that scar on his forehead.... his Elohim acquired knowledge didn't give him insight to happenings in the real world; Roger had no idea that Thomas had slipped and hit his head on the corner of the bathroom sink....Fatal Revenant, pg 11 wrote: "We're here. But we aren't just here." Then he sighed. "There's no good way to explain it. You don't have the experience to understand it." His brief smile reminded her that she had rarely seen such an expression on his face. Roger had smiled at her more often. "Jeremiah is here, but Foul still has him. I'm here, but I'm still part of the Arch of Time."
