Mostly the tidbids that appear in the very first chapter/show which later connects to the last chapter/show. Also the rather dark feeling following through the entire series (books and TV-series). I also find the Minbari quite "Landly", both in speak and deed (Satai Delenn could well compete with High Lord Mhoram, I think. If they both had any ambition of competing, which I suppose they don´t). I also highly like (in TCTC as well as in B5) that the gender of all characters seems to be determined by dice...

I think that the Minbari are too cold to be considered 'landly' although they certainly seem wise enough.

Do you mean that the gender seems to be random?
