Since the used price is less than the cost of renting, I finally picked this up the other day. I'd played a couple times coop at a friends place, but never really got into it.

Now that I've got the chance to sit down on my own and play...

WOW. This is some serious fun

I don't enjoy most FPSs because it seems like they try to be too many different things, or the pacing is off, or any of a number of other reasons. So far, I don't have anything to complain about, which is unusual for me

I'll have to pick up the sequel after I finish this, and see if it's just as good.
