Couple of questions

Post by Seafoam Understone »

Two questions:
1. I see in the Home page that I'm listed as a registered servant of the Land this is the same as other members?

2. The emoticons offered here are really neato. Am wondering if there's room for others? Another discussion board has different but just as cool emoticons as well... is there a way to glean some off their site (www.martialtalk.com) to use here? I'm internet/html/java/whatever stupid so I dunno if it's possible to do that.
Also if more site specific emoticons could be added... i.e. a giant emoticon (twice the size and with a beard like TC's and laughing), and a haruchai emoticon (one that looks stern like Hile Troy's but with eyes... maybe even have folded arms under it. They're just cool ya know??

Yep, with the exception of a few lords and High Lord Jay, we're all Servants of the Land. However, most of us, including the Lords, have changed their titles, so it appears different (for instance, since I own the title privelege, if I hadn't also bought a different title, under "Sylvanus" would also appear "Servant of the Land").

You gotta catch Vain at the right time to get emoticons added, but I imagine it'd help if you could provide a link to the emoticon.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I thought I did... www.martialtalk.com either way I am assuming that as webmaster Vain would have to get an okay from the webmaster of the site ... I went to the site itself and there's no specific URL when I clicked on "get more" just another window...

we'll see what ole' Vain has to say eh? hee hee

Yep but the ACTUAL link to the emoticon ... that's just the link to the site. Go find your emoticon there, then right-click and choose properties. That will give you the web address of the actual emoticon.

You can display it here by including that link (as I described) within img parameters.

Your link seems to work just fine...goes to their emoticon index...but they have quite a few, so you might want to let Vain know which ones you particularly like...
