In Bruges

I hope there isn't already a thread - I must admit I didn't search!

Anyone like dark dark dark comedy? Check this one out. It's kind of silly, but in such a bizarre way that it's almost feel-good, despite the xxxxxxxxxxxx-rated dialogue. Contains extreme violence, awful language, most definitely NOT politically-correct, but ...still feel-good. I must be sick.

Oh, and it's very very funny. (Unless, that is, I'm just sick)

Best film i've seen in ages. Brilliant.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Good movie, hilarious moments, but overall a depressing feeling. I'm still thinking about it after several months, though, so they must have done SOMEthing right :)

Thought it was a good example of the genre. And I do love the genre.

Saw this the other day. I didn't expect to like it; I'm not sure why, since I had no idea what it was about. It took me a while to decide that I was actually enjoying it. In some ways it reminded me of Pulp Fiction (mainly the 'oddly matched buddies indulging in lightweight everyday conversation despite living violent lives of crime' aspect of it).
