Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by AjK »

I just wanted to take a quick break from football, parades and over-eating to wish the watcher's and their families who celebrate Thanksgiving a very happy holiday. And for those who don't, you and yours have a great day too!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had beautiful sunny weather (windows and doors open to the air) and a delicious Thanksgiving dinner!

32 people!
Wow, that's awesome.
How many birds did y'all wind up serving?

Oh fudge...

I forgot to remind you to pick up cans of creamed corn for the corn pudding when I saw you last Friday...

...sorry...

Happy days later.... ;)

We had a successful feast for four at Shara_Lunison's apartment. I remembered to bring everything except a carving knife. Luckily CVS was still open, and luckily they had a whole set of knives for 20 bucks in their "as seen on TV" Christmas gift aisle....

It rained in Vegas, but not a lot. We only got stuck in one rainstorm. But we had a great day that day, and destroyed our legs. We never had the traditional Thanksgiving meal, but we sure did eat. We went and saw Cirque du Soliel's Love (to Beatles music) that night, and it kept us up later than we are used to. It may have been that, but it wasn't as good as we wanted it to be. I can't really explain it, as there were several things that were astounding, but overall it was a bit of a disappointment. But the day was definitely a success.

I had Thanksgiving a month ago.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

Canada elected to move its Thanksgiving Day to a different month, in order to avoid a repeat of the Great Turkey Incident of 1892 involving the Americans.

Okay, so this is a little late, but Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

This is my fifth Thanksgiving and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it - eat everything in sight until a) There is no food left, or b) You have eaten so much that you can't move to reach the food that might be left...

No, it appears you are still doing it wrong. There should never be no food left. More needs to be made if this happens. You need to have leftovers for at least a week.
