A few days ago I started playing La-Mulana, one of my favorite freeware games of all time. But this time, I've been taking copious notes in the hopes of writing an epic, all-addressing text walkthrough of the game. There are of course video walkthroughs that make this whole attempt somewhat obsolete, but at least text-walkthroughs are much easier to search, right?
It's a pretty slow process as I don't have much time to do it in the first place (real life is invasive) but it's been extremely fun to cover the first 15 minutes (or so) of the game, jotting down what's in every pot, methods for killing various enemies and bad jokes about what's going on.
But I hit a bit of a wall. Originally I was planning to post the walkthrough on gamefaqs, where I just kinda figured at least 10 people might read it. But then I realized the game doesn't actually have a page on gamefaqs yet. So I tried to submit data a few days ago, but my request was rejected without reason. I'm still trying to figure out why, but it seems that the gamefaqs mods are very subjective about which non-commercial games they will add to the site and which they won't. Maybe I'll be able to figure out what the problem is and hurdle over it, but maybe not.
So I'm hoping that someone might have an idea for a similar "game archive" which allows users to submit walkthroughs and stuff, in the hopes they might be interested in hosting a walkthrough of a non-commercial game.
If you're interested in trying out the game itself (I highly recommend it, it's got pretty easy enemies but the music, bosses and puzzles are top-notch), you can find the game itself and a patch (into english) on this site:

Good places to post walkthroughs?

Have you tried www.neoseeker.com? They used to be pretty good at hosting walkthroughs and they seemed to have pages for some pretty obscure games.
