Watched it last night.
The acting was choppy......Really choppy. The story, while somewhat hokey, managed to reign me in. It was a solid 6.5 outta 10. I'm looking forward to the series.

I watched it over the weekend. I'm definitely intrigued we see the birth of the first Cylon, and I can envision some of the things they can do with the series as more Cylons are created and filtered into everyday life and I'm kind of excited to see that play out, especially considering what we already know about the future in BSG Proper. I didn't care for it. The back story was interesting, and will probably keep me watching, but the story itself... meh. Stolz and were about the only strong points to it. Very, uneven, and disappointing considering BSG's pilot. I hope it's a rocky start rather than an inauspicious one.
The beginning of the show itself seemed very out of place. Normally, I'm all for gratuitous nudity, but I was wondering if I was actually watching the right show.

Definitely the nudity was over the top, but, Baltar and Six had quite the romps in the BSG Pilot, so...
And yes, the beginning was very difficult to follow, I was halfway through before I figured out what was going on, but, now that I've seen it once, I'm hoping the beginning will make more sense on a second viewing.
