Hi All - just joined, and have read the series several times over the last 20 years or so (I'm dating myself, but what the heck...)
Anyway, I read the first two novels of the last series, and have started re-reading the first 6. I've done some Google searching for my question, but have come up blank. Are there any companion guides for the Chronicle series, such as there are for Lord of the Rings? I know that there is an Atlas of some sort, but can find really no helpful reviews concerning its contents.
Anyone knowledgeable on the subject?
Thanks!

Other than that I don't know of any companion guides.Amazon wrote:The Atlas Of The Land by Karen Wynn Fonstad provides a cartographer's point of view to the fictional world known as "the Land" from Stephen R. Donaldson's fantasy novel series, The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever.
Throughout this book, Fonstad provides detailed cartography along with annotated descriptions for each map. Some of the larger scaled maps also plot out the travels of various characters and their companions throughout the novels. On some of these maps, Fonstad also goes so far as to detail camp sites, length of travel, moon phases, and even Sun Bane cycles.
fall far and well Pilots!

First of all...
Be Welcome to the Watch, M5Dad.
Be Well Come and True.
Please come introduce yourself and say "Hello" up in The Summonsing so we can properly welcome you.
The Wikipedia listing isn't bad for voluntary efforts (I'm pretty sure the Watch's L-rd Mhoram had a lot of influence in that, thanks LM!), especially if you follow the links included to other pages regarding the Land, races and animals, and the books themselves.
I look forward to reading your own insight into the series, and hope you'll explore the other areas of the Watch eventually as well.
