Anthology!!!!!--- good idea?
Anthology!!!!!--- good idea?
I was thinking, while looking through the hall of gifts, that there is alot of talent here; as far as writing is concerned. So my suggestion is that we should gather a collection of work from watch members, and try to get it published. It's worth a shot, don't you think? Also it could be a foot in the door for people wanting to get their own series published. Who knows, the next big thing could be right here.

I'm guessing that wouldn't be a bad idea. I've read bits and pieces of the work posted and I imagine its only the tip of the iceberg. Most of my completed work is in the fanfiction realm but I have a variety of short stories that I'd be willing to contribute to the effort. Why not?

There are a few things that will have to be discussed. Do we have a volunteer to edit this Anthology? I for one have no business grammar checking anything. You’ll discover that if you read any of my fiction. If this is an Anthology, I expect that each story would have some theme connecting them. I have written a variety of short stories but I suspect I’ll end up doing a re write in any case, but I am not against writing something completely new for this project. As to the theme, given the nature of the story that has inspired this web site, I like the idea of a sword and sorcery type theme. Something in the Chronicles/LOTR realm. Thoughts?

Okay, Hierachy. I'm sure you'd be better at it than I would. Another thought was creating a place, perhaps in the hall of gifts, where each of us posts to a particular thread our entries for review by the group. If an author had a couple of stories and couldn't decide between them, the group could review and assist.

I'm sure anything you have written will be terrific. I will read the thing if nothing else. There will be no deafening silence. I can guarantee that.Landwaster wrote:I'd give my "Witness" a bit of a scrub up if you want, though I'm not sure if its any good, the silence is still deafening

LOL read it FIRST, then see if "anything" I have written would be "terrific"
I deliberately write some very bad stuff, too, you know
You'll never never know, if you never never go ... and read it
Someone put a corker in there, about some bloke in the rain with some metal thing attacking him. It was pedal to metal right through. I'm gonna go back for another look!
Edit : It was yours! LOL

Do you think I like being this dangerous?

Okay Land, I promise to reserve judgement until I've actually read your story.
I'm intrigued by the anthology idea. I've posted three different stories in the hall of gifts for review. One hopefully will pass muster to be included.
